| THE MAN IN THIS PHOTOGRAPHED VISITED THE SHERLOCK HOLMES
MUSEUM ON MONDAY 10TH APRIL 2006 AND STOLE AN ATTACHE CASE CONTAINING A CONSIDERABLE SUM
OF MONEY BELONGING TO SOME VISITORS. ON THE FOLLOWING DAY HE RETURNED WEARING A FLAT CAP. He is about 5' 7" tall and has a bitter expression on his face when he is looking for items to steal. He is often seen in the Edgware road area and frequents hotels such as the Landmark to secure his pickings which usually belong to unsuspecting people who have put down their belongings. Sequence of images showing theft.
Image 1-The thief enters the shop while the two victims are looking at some hats. The
attache case is in the victim's hand. An accomplice in a light top wearing glasses is
shown close to the camera.
Image4 - A second accomplice stands near the till. The thief is observing the victims, who
have put the case on the floor.
Image 5 - The thief continues to wait for both victims to turn towards the till.
Image 6 - The thief moves in to steal the case while both victims have turned towards the
till. An accomplice engages one of the victims in a conversation to make sure he doesn't
turn around to se what is happening to his case.
Image 7 - The thief leaves the shop with the case in his left hand concealed in front of
his body. The crime is complete and so the accomplice moves off.
